Upon strolling down the streets of Flushing, looking for a Japanese restaurant, we decided to give this restaurant a shot. This place was rather small but appear to be larger than most of the Japanese owned places in Flushing. I liked that the atmosphere seems comforting.

The waiter approached us with great enthusiasm. The menu was quite extraordinary; as it was in the form of a book displaying the actual dishes, but an actual paper menu came along with it. I thought that was quite clever for curious people like me. We ordered the Chicken Teriyaki Udon Noodles, Spider Rolls, and the Salmon and Chicken Bento Box. I really enjoyed the Salmon Bento Box, because maybe it my first time ordering a bento box, but the teriyaki salmon taste fresh and the sauce was the perfect amount of sweetness. I especially like the salad that came with the bento box. The Udon noodles was quite alright. The broth has an interesting sweet flavor to it. My partner Dave, did not like the Spider Rolls too much because he didn't like the sauce it came along with. But overall, I thought that it was nice and crunchy.

Rating: ★★★★
Recommend: Yes
(Minus 1 star because upon asking a waitress for a tea refill, she never responded. Service could overall be more attentive. )
